When the wind is howling at your windowpane, and you know you're not awake enough to write anything past 'gerfleeble nip', and you've got a weirdo kitten in an enclosed, breakable room...

... you stay up till 0045 making icons. At least, I did.

The wind has been going at this all day. It sounds like thunder half the time, which would actually be more bearable, except for the oddity that it was bright, sunny, and without clouds since I woke up. I keep expecting to hear the sound of a tree getting ripped up, but all I get is my parents smiling and nodding.

This will take getting used to.

So I made icons. In light of my recent revival of love for Michael Corvin of Underworld mythos, here's some 100x100 eyecandy.

First ones, mine. Don't take.

Beautiful. Don't take. Exquisitely Inhuman. Don't take.

Free to a good, crediting, home:

Inhuman. Rage. Monster. Wary.
Mine.

Perhaps I should make an alphabet set.

The wind kept me up most of the night, rattling, banging, howling, and generally having an orgy of a time without inviting me. I miss thunderstorms, because thunderstorms I can eventually sleep through with a pleasant frame of mind.

I'm tired, I'm sore, and my head feels like the skull has been replaced with an old, unwashed sweater. I need tea. And sugar. And writing, if I can focus enough to hold a pencil.

Weather report-

Winds at an average of 80 kilometers per hour, gusting to 100 on the flats.

...

But it's nice wind... warm wind... that melts all the ice during the day with temperatures in the teens and sends cars into a few thousand meters of skidding on ice after the sun goes down.

... maybe it's a sign to vote Green Party today.
