I Never Have to Leave the Apartment Again ...

Slept in. Went out. Sent mail. Got mail.

Came home. Fiddled with computer. Had nap.

Now have full-time Internet access. Now have one class of college left for the year. Now have one more painting to finish for a freaking mark.

... now have Diablo II Expansion Set addiction. Sigh. Life is so hard.

Ehh ... Brian said I had "beautiful rendering", Laurel like my gestures over my paintings, and Vera was ... Vera.

My art's too literal. It has little mystique or magic or hook. Maybe I should leave the figures out of the environment and let the viewer create their own.

I want to force-feed them a fantasy book because I have extreme doubts that any of them has ever read one before.

Yeah. I hate how they get so friggin uptight about "literalness" or whatever... I talked their ears off until we like ran out of time. Didn't understand a bloody thing Gartley was telling me... she is totally gone. Pfft.

Meh, its nice to have someone who can actually draw in our major (you and a coupla others)... Jen is pretty good at rendering too. Fuck I wish they'd honor that more than "conceptual" ness... bleh.

Oh well....
