I've got your reference right here...
Convergys is nosediving into my pile of 'things that suck', and I haven't even worked there for nearly seven months.
I've been trying to get a hold of the local HR to confirm or deny that I shouldn't bother listing them as a reference on my resume if they aren't going to actually fucking refer me, and I get two options. One, leave a message on the employment opportunities extension, as no one's picking up... or two, call a 1-800 national HR number that isn't available in my flipping area when I choose the payroll and benefits extension.
I mean, fuck, people... I've been in your goddamn office and seen the three people there at any random hour of the day before five pm. What the hell are you paid for?
And I'm sorry, but this policy that I'm trying to confirm? Doesn't make sense. I mean, if you're going about it trying to keep people from leaving for better jobs if you won't give them good references, then have you or have you not factored in the rumour mill among the student work force that you're going to screw over your employees in all aspects of contact... which might, oh, I don't know, keep people wisely the hell away from you completely?
I am so very, very glad that I have nothing more to do with you besides flipping you off as I drive by.
And in other news, you know what I can't stand? Perfume. Oh, I like fun and interesting scents, and wear a single spritz every morning myownself, but if I'm on the freaking pool observation area and can't smell the chlorine for your eau du jour, you're doing it wrong, and I want to gag.

If movies have taught me anything at all, the best course of action would be to set fire to their building. There's something about small prairie cities and shoddy business practices, particularly where a student workforce is concerned. From what I understand, prairie buildings catch fire rather well.
