… okay, so by the name, obviously, I’m a part of a British punk band. And a modern one that overrefers to The Clash as an inspiration but never does anything so mad as splinter a guitar onstage. They’re more the kind to make deliberate tries at commentaries on world culture, trying to raise awareness about the mundane things that most people overlook and just don’t get. Like… Eidetic reduction and Driving Park. They met at the local art college, and decided to tackle their commentary on the state of globalism through music. The lead singer’s the only one among them that has an accent enough to sing for the genre, and tries to write the majority of the songs, but the drummer’s imported from Midwestern United States, and has a lot of really weird ideas that just seem to sit well to a tune. The guitarists and bassist are a little too focused in making both their parts and their mohawks are just right for the next gig, so they’re totally missing the conflict.
Except for the lead guitarist named Hensel. He wrote the song about manga on the back of a college notebook during women’s studies, and the drummer stole it and claimed it for himself after Hensel fell asleep on the tram. Hensel is plotting his revenge.
