Dirt. And wind. That makes dust ...
Apr. 27th, 2002 10:45 pmToday was just ... blargh.
Didn't get enough sleep (thanks, Mac), had to get to school to check dozens of Christmas-light strings, had a light bulb blow up in my face (good thing I was wearing my glasses), then was late for getting to work at Mac Island (telling cars where to park for band credits). It is way too cold for April, and way too dry. It's an odd concept when you're freezing your ass off in a dust storm. Even the possible fun of having a walkie-talkie didn't cheer me up. I would like to get a henna tattoo at the booth at the trade fair tomorrow, but I don't have enough money for it right now. Perhaps next time. A kanji or something. I have to work six hours at the food court tomorrow as well, so perhaps I'll have some time to look around. I'll be indoors, too, so won't feel like a walking dust heap.
Thank you hot showers. Dust go bye-bye.
Plus, I got to have some Oreo fudge. It's like the filling of the biggest Oreo cookie ever. With crumbs in it.
I feel lonely. I mean, I felt lonely when I was out there. All alone with a bunch of moving vehicles. Tomorrow sould be better.
Heh. Trav's probably trying to sleep off his eighteenth birthday party. Apparently, Jon and Adam (I think) are off to get him drunk. Again. Best of luck, bud. Happy Birthday!
Armageddon is a cool movie. Sad, though. Bitterly sad, especially in light of this year. I think I already mentioned that in an earlier post.
My mind's going of on tangents now. I'll stop, and write later.
