Christmas cheer, indeed.
Dec. 24th, 2002 09:00 pmOooh.... x.x My bones ache like a beast... but it sure was worth it.
The 2002 Fort McMurray Candy Cane Run was a success. A great one. I just want to make sure that I don't ever forget the looks on the faces of those kids who saw 'Santa' through the windows and posed with him on his fire truck. Not as many people ran out to meet us with Kraft Dinner and canned food this year, but they did try and tip us once.
Got to see a few people that I didn't expect *hugz to them*, and Jiggy was able to tag along again. As she said, it was pretty much the most time we've spent hanging out all year.
It isn't Christmas Eve to me unless we have a Candy Cane Run.
*Raises glass* Best holiday wishes to all, and many good years unto you and your loved ones.
And now, I'm off to the hot tub to soak the long walk out of my bones.
