Tired like a ghost.
Apr. 6th, 2004 01:48 pmHaving the studios at this college open for use until 1 am is both a blessing and a curse.
Oh, sweet boner, why are you so long and hard? I am dead freaking tired ... and I'm not done yet. One, maybe two more nights ... this week, anyway. If I'm incoherent, if I'm cranky, if I fall asleep in the middle of a conversation ... humour me. It's not you, and it will pass, hopefully by Thursday.
At least I can certifiably defend myself when some asshat instructors claim the second-year Drawing majors are slackers and have done 'insufficient work'. If I can lug eleven canvases to a studio this morning and cover an entire wall with half of my completed work, I think someone needs to get in touch with their students and research before they look like pompous dictators.
And on a random note ... yet slightly relevant because I feel like I'm a walking ghost town myself, I nabbed this link from

It's a site of photos put together by a woman who takes motorcycle rides through the Chernobyl fallout area. Haunting. And beautiful.
