Remind me to never, ever pick up the local university newspaper... purely for the reason that it is published on Thursdays. Nothing good happens to me on Thursdays. It's been proven. I have an icon. See the icon.

I'm already in the kind of mood that would rather spend my waking hours under heavy blankets with a firm collection of skilled harem escapees, chocolate, and imported tea (serious inquiries only, please). I made the mistake of rereading one of my Strangers in Paradise trades before Computer Science this morning, and the mood of a cold, windy, cloudy day is more than enough, thanks.

I certainly didn't need anything to make it worse, like
a) a world news article about which law was vetoed recently...
b) a survey on student sexual practices in bright little pie charts...
c) a positive review of 10 000 BC.
