Have I ever mentioned how much I really _dislike_ my art teacher? I can't make a list of all the things about her that piss me off, but the latest one; she said that the acting on Lord of the Rings sucked. >.< .... oooooohhhhhhh ...... And saying that she has a better right to her opinion about acting because she has a 'Degree in Drama'. I'm not saying that you don't have a right to an opinion, but a piece of paper does not give you more right to it than anyone else.
And another thing; she harps on the class constantly about deadlines and wasting time, then suddenly yanks the entire class downtown to look at a college art show on absolutely no notice. We ended up being in the gallery for all of five minutes, then being dragged on a tour of the art facilities, and then leaving the college late.
1. I disliked all but two of the pieces in the show.
2. I've been on the tour three times before. I knew the teachers, the rooms, and the courses as well as I could without attending.
3. I was fifteen minutes late for work.
4. It wasted an entire block when I _wanted_ to be getting my comic book closer to being finished.
I'm very sore about it still. I mean, I'm a matre enough person that I can be left to workon my own, right? I'm in Art 31 and I'm not going to paint the room with clay or something. Art 31 students don't have art history projects, so there's no point in me trying to understand just _why_ the college artist dumped a bunch of colored wheat on the floor in a particular pattern. I'm not saying I can't learn to appreciate it, but I've got more pressing things on my mind at the moment. Don't force me to try and change my tastes.
I found solace in my Gackt CD. And drawing anime. Just to spite her. She's such a fucking xenophobe. And a hypocritic one, at that.
I really miss my Art 30 teacher. I haven't seen that much of her recently, because I haven't been able to go to Art Club very often with my new job. She's a great person, always happy and good with a joke, open-minded, incredibly talented and full of good advice.
Enough ranting. I'm going to watch a Behind-the-Scenes show on Space about Spider-Man. To all those who got to see it on opening night, you lucky people. I'll catch up with you soon.
P.S. Our principal at lunch time:
*Beeeep* "Just to show that we're 'cool' and 'with it', we have a bit of a surprise for you." *Cue classic Spider-Man theme* .... *Cue me cracking up with laughter*

I wish I was 'cool' and 'with it'

NOW
You are. However, I prefer 'sexy' and 'all mine'.
