Computer love .... naaaaaaah.

I don’t know it’s student council or some other club in the school, but there’s this weird new trend in Westwood; iFlurtz. Even the name sounds …wrong. Why does bad spelling have such appeal for advertising?
It’s one of those stupid ‘find your perfect love match’ forms that you fill out and return for a chance to find your ‘match’ in the school. I, frankly, think it’s a waste of time and would rather spend my two bucks on something more beneficial. True, it may be amusing if you have the money to spend, but I find the concept pretty shallow as it is.
I mean, how could you love someone who is your exact match? It would be like dating your clone. It is an asset to have things in common, yes, but too much would get predictable and boring. I think there was an episode of Just Shoot Me about something like that.
When it comes to finding someone, I don’t trust computers to be a judge. They know nothing of friendly arguments, deep philosophical debates, or opposites attracting. I trust myself in those matters, and I think that I’ve managed quite well. I wouldn’t change it for anything.

That, and today my art teacher told me that she had a dream about vampires trying to kill her … and I was one of them. Mrs. Shimmons the Vampire Slayer …. As Liz would say, twitchy. ^.^
